Why permissioned blockchain
Hyperledger Fabric is designed for permissioned networks in which participants and access can be governed. In TRAZEIT, the purpose is not cryptocurrency. It is to strengthen shared confidence that approved traceability events and their history have not been silently rewritten.
What blockchain does not solve
Blockchain does not verify a false statement at the point of entry, replace operational controls or make every record public. Data quality still depends on validation, responsible capture, governance, devices and audits.
